Observation

Outlet plastic inserts were observed to be used in the licensed areas that posed a risk of choking at the time of inspection. Gardening hose was observed in the outdoor area that posed a risk of tripping and forming a loop around a child's neck at the time of inspection. A protruding nail was observed in the preschool classroom that was accessible to children at the time of inspection. Baseboard in the preschool bathroom area was broken and required repairing; the door knob of the emergency exit door in the outdoor area appeared to be in poor condition and required repairing at the time of inspection. Toddler play room, preschool classroom (Dramatic play area) and the office were observed to lack appropriate illumination at the time of inspection. Water temperature in the toddler bathroom was measured at 152 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of inspection. Outlets in various licensed areas appeared to be non tamper-resistant at the time of inspection.
