Basal Shamso (Zainab Family Child Care)

Observation

Program has a cleaning schedule but does not appear to be following it. There was only 1 set of spray bottles observed in the kitchen. there was none for the restroom or general area. The licensor observed the provider later in the visit wiping off the counter with a microfiber rag but 3 step process for the kitchen counter as not observed. The kitchen was observed to be in disarray items were observed on every area of the counters in the kitchen. There was pots, buckets and other items on the floor in the kitchen. Medicine was oberved on the counter by can goods along with boxes on the counters and the floor. The counter that is accesible to the children had items as well everywhere and a sticky residue. The licensor observed when getting ready to set clipboard down. There were counters observed as well on the counters. The refrigerator was observed to need cleaning out with food residue inside of it. The freezer was observed to have some black residue at the bottom of it possibly from food spillage. They kitchen needs deep cleaning along with all equipment and organizing. The stove was also observed with pots and items etc on it as well.
