Observation

Licensor observed during the visit that the provider had not completed the required annual fire safety inspection. Licensor observed a lit candle in the kitchen during the visit. Licensor also observed that a fireplace was in use at the time of the inspection. Licensor observed during the visit that the fire extinguisher was stored underneath a sink. Fire extinguishers must be located on each level of the early learning program used by children and must be mounted within 75 feet of an exit, along the path to the exit. If the extinguisher is mounted inside a cabinet, there must be clear sign indicating its location, and nothing may block access to the cabinet.
