Observation

2)c) There was a loose cord for an air purifier accessible to the child in care in the play room. Cords pose a hazard of strangulation. 2)c) There was a loose cable/cord on the side of the house in the outdoor play area, near the front porch and dog area, that was not secured. Cords pose a hazard of strangulation. 2)d) There was a plastic bag hanging in one of the children's cubbies accessible to a child in care today. Plastic bags pose a suffocation hazard. 2)d) There was a plastic bag used to store play materials (pretend snowballs) in the outdoor play area accessible to the child in care today. Plastic bags pose a suffocation hazard. 3)f) There was a large, heavy table propped up on it's edge in the outdoor play area. The table poses a tipping hazard. 3)g) The large table in the outdoor play area had rusty metal on the bottom of the legs and the board under the table had absorbed some rainwater when it was tipped up on it's side. The table is not in good condition. 3)g) A plastic toy box in the outdoor play area had cracked/broken plastic inside of it and was not in good condition. 5)a) An electrical outlet in the play room was accessible to the child in care today and did not have a tamper-resistant outlet or cover.
