Observation

Audit of staff files and review of MERIT facility record reveals several staff have not completed the pre-service training requirements. Out of the 27 people attached to the facility in MERIT, 14 employees have not completed the Child Care Basics training and have been employed at the facility for more than 3 months. Staff qualifications are not current in MERIT with their education verified to meet the minimum hiring requirement for their positions.
