Observation

110-300-0260(1)(a) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed clorox lysol wipes accessible to children in the preschool bathroom under the sink and also on a child shelf. This licensor also observed clorox lysol wipes, lysol, cleaning supplies, etc. in the toddler room and accessible to children. WAC 110-300-0260(1)(b) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed sanitizing products in the same space as food items, food supplies, and food preparation areas upstairs in room connnected to the preschool room. WAC 110-300-0260(2)(a)(b) This licensor observed during the onsite visit the storage areas downstairs that consited of two closets in a hallway by the childrens cubbies and a storage closet by the childrens bathroom were accessible to children and not locked. This licensor also observed the storage closet/room that connects to the preschool room was unlocked and accessible to children. WAC 110-300-0260(3) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed the storage area for mops must be ventilated to the outdoors with an exterior window or mechanical ventilation to prevent the buildup of odors, fumes, or other hazards. WAC 110-300-0260(5) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed janitorial equpment of mop buckets that were accessible to children. Dispute Description: 110-300-0260(1)(a) The licensor that we had before this licensor told us we could have hand sanitizer and clorox wipes in the classroom as long as it was out of a student's reach. We keep them above the file cabinet for staff use only due to all of the germs. 110-300-0260(1)(a) The clorox wipes in the toddler room was not accessible to the toddlers because there were no toddlers in the room. All toddlers were in the preschool room like the licensor observed on Friday, 2/21. WAC 110-300-0260(2)(a)(b) in almost ten years, we haven't been told that we had to have these storage rooms locked. The door knobs are high up out of a toddlers reach.
