110-300-0475 (2)(iv) Staff members failed to notify the department when an incident of inappropriate touching occurred between two children. Dispute Description: To whom it may concern: According to the Statement from the state, I have to disagree with the inappropriate touching. The state licensor and the CPS worker twisted the words of the employee they were interrogating. The incident that they talking about was 2 children sitting by each other on the circle rug during circle time. One had their arm around the other child and the other child their hand on the leg/knee area of the other child sitting like buddies. We noticed it, and asked them to keep their hands to themselves and to move away from each other and they applied. No other issues regarding the children. There was no inappropriate touching at all. Did not feel the need to contact CPS over friends sitting next to each other.
